A+J STUDENT CARE SERVICES is an independent organisation which provides guardianship services to international students. We have had the experience in the industry for over 10 years working with Monash University, RMIT, Swinburne and Deakin Universities among others. Our aim is to support international students during their stay in Australia and to provide the parents with peace of mind in the knowledge that their children are receiving quality care and attention.

A+J Student Care Services are independent of the educational institutions and homestay providers, consequently we are better placed to focus on the needs of our student clients.

A+J Student Care Services consultants are on call 24 hours a day – mobile phone, telephone, fax or e-mail.

Skilled consultants.
We have a team of experienced and caring consultants who enjoy contact with people and look forward to working with them.

Proportionate number of consultants to students.
We keep the number of students under our care manageable to ensure quality of service. This means the students are given more attention by each of our consultants. Each student under our care is very well cared for and has a good relationship with their care giver.

Bilingual consultants.
Each of our students is assigned a consultant who will usually be fluent in the mother language of the students. Alternatively we have an excellent network of linguists who can be called in to assist with any language difficulties.

24 hour availability of our consultants.
This gives us the capacity to stay in regular contact with the student to deal with any issues that may arise. It also provides confidence to the parents as they know that their child will be looked after if any emergency or other problem arises.

Regular tracking of the student's progress.
» Consultants promptly follow up areas of concern, with the student's home stay, parents or educational institution.
» Consultants arrange weekly contacts with the students in their care.
» Weekly reports are prepared by the consultant for all students in their care.
» A comprehensive student database is maintained and this facilitates tracking of any areas of concern, problems and    achievements that have arisen and allows action to be taken on a timely basis to resolve issues arising.

Information sharing with the relevant interested parties.
All the information that is obtained from the first visit to the homestay is maintained on our database and is provided to the parents and the educational institute. Privacy principles are strictly followed by our business and we ensure full compliance with the principles of the Privacy Act.

Assistance to parents travelling to Australia.
We are happy to provide assistance to parents who wish to visit their child in Australia.
